Gospel Motorbikes

We have worked in Africa since 1978, for the most part in Nigeria, traveling and preaching, bringing thousands into faith in Christ. In addition to our own campaigns we have partnered with a long-term missionary who has an ongoing work in Ghana. We helped her to build a church in Ghana and in 2019 we traveled the country with her visiting the church we built as well as others. We held meetings and had a great response to the Gospel. We fell in love with the people of Ghana.

One of the things we saw is their hunger for the Word. We saw that one pastor may be responsible for several churches, but because of the terrain, the weather and the long distances, it was impossible for them to travel to every church, every Sunday. We saw that the most reliable mode of transportation was the motorbike. But a motorbike was out of reach financially for many pastors.

This Gospel Motorbikes Project provides motorbikes to Ghanaian pastors in rural areas where transportation is very limited by lack of vehicles and poor roads. The cost of one motorbike is $875.

Since 2019 we have sent 16 motorbikes to northern Ghana for pastors who travel into the desert area and in very remote regions. The testimonies we have received have been amazing. The gospel preached under the stars in the small villages; people needing medical attention being transported to hospital on the back of the pastor’s motorbike; widows and orphans supplied with food.
